Hi, my name is Catherine, owner of Core Engagement Group. I started CEG because I believe that business growth begins at the core - with employees.

I've spent my professional career navigating the work of human resources, management, sales, marketing, and organizational development. In any role, my #1 focus is enabling performance through employee engagement and professional development. Research tells us that increasing employee engagement requires more than just donuts and pizza parties. In fact, engaged employees are a direct result of engaging managers, engaging conversations, and engaging development. But why does employee engagement matter anyway?

An engaged workforce is a productive workforce, a committed workforce, and a more profitable workforce.

Catherine Germinario

 

Catherine is an Industrial and Organizational psychologist with a background in human resources, sales, marketing, and organization development.


Catherine received her Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Catherine began her career as a top seller at a national marketing firm before transitioning into management and training roles where she discovered her passion for people. She then made the move to a leadership coaching start-up where she developed a sales and marketing strategy from the ground up. In addition to Core Engagement Group, Catherine works as an Organization Effectiveness consultant across a Fortune 100 company helping foster employee engagement and managing Talent and Succession Planning processes for 4,000+ leaders.
